Chris Michael Taylor
"Sometimes life's emotions are so strong, they must be put to music to be expressed". Such is truly the case for Chris (Michael) Taylor. The motion and emotion of music has been a driving force for Chris from the moment he was captivated by music videos and his hungry hands embraced a guitar in the early years before reaching his teens. Inspired by his fatherís love of melodic rock music, this Carolina native grew up listening to iconic artists including Van Halen, Foreigner and Michael Jackson, who Chris credits to his list of artistic influences. This was the beginning of a story of big dreams for a small town boy.
At the age of 17 Chris knew his destiny was to let his guitar do the talking and others took notice of his drive and talent. While gaining experience and quickly making a name for himself, Chris discovered the joy of writing songs and a voice that had a brand of its own. Performing with Carmine and Vinny Appice (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, DIO, and Rod Stewart) took Chris to BB Kings in Times Square, The Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, TN and The M3 Festival in Maryland and led to the opportunity to spend creative time with Tommy DeCarlo, the soaring lead voice from the band Boston.
After writing songs and playing a support role for some of the top names in music, Chris has discovered and delivered a voice and direction that has a story of its own as it has for Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. Sharing the stage with established talent created a lifetime of memories. However, the future is bright and the spotlight is focused on Chris (Michael) Taylor as he moves his music and guitar into the spotlight with a unique blend of Pop, Rock and Soul inviting all to sing, dance and come along on this entertaining journey.
